Kilo-topia!

The last week...
I want this post not to be depressing so I’m really going to work on making it positive…so we arrived on Saturday and went to the Library to make an ‘ad’ for George… we then visited a few hostels and put up the beautiful ads and reading… Sunday was an eventful day at the hospital. So post-glacier walk we have been pretty uneventful- we stopped in Greymouth for the night at a delightful hostel- it was raining quite a lot so we just read for the duration of the evening… the next day we went on a hunt for a latte (well I wanted one- the foam here is DELICIOUS) the first place we went to had no flavours (and I’m a wuss) the next place we went to had mint chocolate...
Fox and Fir!
So we had decided to do a half-day hike of a glacier b/c my knee was feeling better, so yesterday after an overnight in Haast and a full bottle of oil added to George (who had been sounding odd). Dun Dun Dunedin!
So yesterday we enjoyed a half day trip from Lake Tekapo to Dunedin. The only reason we went to Lake Tekapo- well two reasons really- the bright blue lake, AND the amazing night sky. The lake was cool, but it was too cloudy to see anything productive in the sky. But the lake was really cool.
